Has anyone set up Wordpress to auto-post to Facebook? I am trying to set it up but am having issues because I am using custom post types.

9,767 PointsI wouldn't. To maximise the effect and benefit of Facebook and other social networks, you need to be selective in what is posted to Facebook. Posting everything will off put your users. You should be using the Facebook text input to introduce the post and attract people's attention to the post. It's marketing at the end of the day.
That is of course, unless you're posting once a week or something in which case, it's hardly a tonne of work to post the link.
I run a site that reports news for an industry to our growing Facebook following of 2,300. Some posts do better than others and as such, I must be careful what I link to Facebook as spamming with posts all the time and every post I publish on the site will cost me followers.
