Wordpress plugin name hyphens problem

Hi, i have a plugin named "search_terms_cloud" [Link](wordpress.org/plugins/search-terms-cloud/) when i download and activate the plugin on my website the css and js assets are not load and i got 404 error, the plugin is named 'search_terms_cloud' and wordpress create a directory named 'search-terms-cloud' and that's what cause the error, why id that happening?

Not sure the exact reason for this but that shouldn't cause it. I would post up to the plugin support forum here: http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/search-terms-cloud
