is there a track that teaches you the plugins that can monetize your website and how to work them.

It doesn't look like there are courses like this in the Treehouse library, but there are tons of resources out there for how to monetize your website. A good place to start is the Google Adsense plugin which is fairly easy to set up. (https://wordpress.org/plugins/google-publisher/) It's easy to find more instructions about how to set up an Adsense account, as Google provides their own how-to's to make it easy for people to use their products. Have a look, hope that is a helpful start.
