352 PointsWordpress.com or Wordpress.org for personal blog
Hey treehouse family!
Im curious to start my own blog. The content of my blog would track my journey from novice web designer to full stack developer as i go along making regular blog posts. I could also add in articles or posts I find interesting pertaining to tech/web design/development as I see fit.
I guess my question is...should fork over the cash to purchase a wordpress.org site or should I stick with a free wordpress.com site?
Any suggestions or comments will be greatly appreciated!

17,729 PointsI would say host your own. If you are going to show off your skills, then you probably want to make your own theme and have free reign with your themes and plugins you use. You can easily set up a site with a domain and come out under $10/mth
