Working with Get Variables

Ok I wrote evergthing right (I thing) but still didn't work can anyone help me please thanks "" PHP <?php

one thing I noticed:

header("location: contact.php?status=thanks");

I think it should be 

header("Location: contact.php?status=thanks");

with a capital L
