PHP Build a Simple PHP Application Adding a Contact Form Working with Get Variables

Working with Get Variables - Thanks Not Working

Hi, I've tried to debug this several times but can't figure out where I went wrong. When I run this code, it just refreshes the page and shows the empty Contact form again, instead of the Thanks message.

Please help! I've included my code below.

OLD: header("Location: contact.php?$status=thanks");

NEW: header("Location: contact.php?status=thanks");

Looking at your code. You do not have a status variable to begin with so your GET variable is blank.
