Workspace color: Is it possible to change to a darker background as in the challenges?

In the challenges, we work on a dark background. It's a lot easier on the eyes and I was wondering if it's possible to change our workspaces to the same dark gray.

No, not currently. However, I'm fairly sure that Treehouse is always looking for helpful feedback and suggestions! I encourage you to click the link to "Support" at the top of this page and read about how to submit suggestions to Treehouse.. Likely as not, there are other students who feel exactly the way you do. And ultimately, this can only result in a better user experience (in my opinion).

Thanks for the idea~ ! I did send them a message and they told me they have heard it before so I'm hoping we get some alternative themes at some point. You were right!

You can use some browser extensions for now. Care Your Eyes for Chrome browser works well for me, it effects workspaces and you can set the color you like.

I don't think there are any alternate "themes" for the workspace.

But it's a great idea that you might suggest using the button on the Support page.

Would love to see this implemented in workspaces to make it easier to work on the screen for longer. Thanks Dmitry for the suggestion of browser extension for now.
