Workspace isn't the same as what the task is on the screen therefore it is hard to follow along and implement anything.

Is there anything you can do to be able to change the workspace to the correct or relevant workspace.

You can try using your own text editor. Some popular ones for beginners are Atom, Brackets and SublimeText. Personally, I prefer Brackets.
