Workspace like online IDEs/text editors?

I've gotten really fond of the whole experience of work space and not having a local editing environment quickly.. and was wondering if anyone has a good grasp on the online editor environment, and what there is to pick from. I'd love a tool with at least as much functionality as work space (Remove file saving, syntax highlighting, VM like previews of server-side code, forking a repo, ect.. on and spell checking would be amazing) and I haven't really found anything like that (Koding sort of is... but it's like it takes so long to start up that it's silly).

Thanks, Will

Being a novice myself and currently working from my chromebook (didn't want to go the ChrUbuntu route), I have used nitrous.io and c9.io . Currently mainly using c9.io and am quite satisfied. Saves me loads of hassle getting everything configured + I can get started right away, it's just a matter of getting back to the active tab in my browser.

Hope that helps.

David

I'd suggest http://codio.io

There's also http://nitrous.io and http://c9.io
