workspace not opening current task

I'm working through tracks and when i open workspace it keeps opening "building the footer", even though i am on the next task which is "center the wrapper". it does allow me to create a new workspace and i can go and choose "center the wrapper " but i don't want to do that ever time i have a new task . anyone know how to help?
