I have literally copy and pasted the files from the "How To Make a Website" track and yet the preview remains only html and not responding to the CSS files... help?

10,288 PointsHi, did you make sure you linked the CSS file to the HTML file? with the:
link href = "nameofthefile.css" type = "css/text" rel = "stylesheet"
insert that to youre HTML file in the head section and put the name of the CSS file youre trying to link under the href. That should work.

If that folder happens to be outside of your currently working directory, you may need to reference that directory in your file path as well. Example: href= 'style/main.css' for a folder called 'style'

1,145 PointsI did that... after further review I realized that I had capitalized my folder and referred to it in lowercase... rookie mistake. Thanks for your help!
