[Workspace] The command to open a file with the console

For example: I have a file "test.py" and I want to open it directly by a command. In Linux it's something like "gedit test.py"

Is this possible with the treehouse workspaces?

I'm wondering about this as well. C9's workspace has the "c9 open ." command, which is useful.

Please make it possible to open files from the bash, into the workspace!
