I do not have the index.html listed on the lefthand side of my workspace, but I do have the tab open. How do I get it on the menu

If you have tab open for the file then the file should be somewhere on the left side (from my experience). Maybe its hiding in a folder. Open the folders if you have any & see if you see the html file. If you do, drag outside the folder to the main level (usually you drag the file in a downward direction).

Thanks for your help, that worked!

Hi Brittany! If you're still having troubles, you can send Support an email at help@teamtreehouse.com with your Workspace text editor URL, browser and OS versions, and they'll be happy to take a look. Thanks!
