Workspaces is not letting me transfer pictures, what do I do?

When I try to transfer files into workspaces it just disappears, HELP!!!

Some things you might want to consider are:

  1. dragging the pictures into the lower left hand corner
  2. dropping it only when the green plus appears

I found that the size of the photo file made a difference. I had trouble when I tried to transfer a jpg that I had taken with a camera (size around 3M). After running the photo through PhotoShop (or in my case, GIMP), however, and saving it for web, the size was down to less than 500k and I had no trouble transferring it into workspaces.

Actually when you are on firefox with any GNU/Linux distro Workspaces doesn't allow to upload files not sure why and I ak using a recent version of firefox.

I had to changue to chrome and it works.

I try it again with firefox on windows (windows 8) and sometiems worked and sometimes no.

So you must try with different web browsers.
