Workspaces isn't saving my work

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong since I haven't had this problem in TextMate or Atom but I wanted to work along with Nick in Workspaces for the basic website tutorial.

Whenever I try to save my work, I get an error message that says "An error occurred when trying to save the file ./index.html. (error SecurityError)"

The only workaround I've found is to copy my work, exit and then reopen the document and paste all my code over my old code. It's a huge waste of time though and is seriously slowing down my progress in these lessons.

Is there anything I can do apart from switching back to Atom?

I have been having the same issue for the past week or so, and now when I try to do the usual copy my work - close workspace- reopen - paste work ...continue. A very slow and annoying process.

Were you able to resolve this issue?

i had issues saving as well (it wasnt saving my work at all...id save it then come back to it the next day and everything would be gone, completely empty). I havent had an issues though the past week, but it seems the workspaces still have some kinks that need to be worked out

No, I was never able to resolve this issue. My solution was to download https://atom.io and the project files and work along with the videos. It's a little more legwork but atom saves my work properly and it's probably good for me to get used to using a proper text editor anyway.

Great, thanks for the information Amna
