Workspaces Not Launching in Three Different Browsers

I am using a Macbook Pro Laptop and tried to launch workspaces using Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Safari and the wheel just spins and spins but no workspaces pops up. Is there something going on in the backend preventing workspaces from launching? It worked before just fine and I'm not sure what could be going on now.
