2,778 PointsWould it be helpful for us to comment on videos when there are errors in the transcript?
I've noticed a number of errors in the video transcripts. I'm not sure if they're automatically generated, there seems to be particular trouble translating instructors with accents (for example, Chalkers saying "JSON" is often translated as "adjacent" in the node.js series). I work QA and specialize in accessibility, so this keeps bugging me.
Would it be helpful to Team Treehouse if any errors were mentioned in the comments for that video, or would it go nowhere?

Usually when I spot an error I write down the time, and at the end of the video I make note of it in the review/feedback.

4,731 PointsHi Lily,
Thanks for mentioning this. Please feel free to let us know about these errors. Similarly, we wish to ensure our materials are inclusive and accessible for everyone, so it is an important matter.
Essentially, the easier you can make it for us to locate a video and its errors, the better and quicker we can remedy them. If a video in particular has a number of errors with a particular word, just point us in the right direction. If there's a video with only one or two errors, if you can point them out and/or the time of the captioning error, it would be very helpful. The captioning is auto-generated, but we have the ability to manually fix them if it's not too big an error. When I watch vids myself, I'll keep note of mistakes and fix them myself because I have access and it annoys me, too. :)
We appreciate you looking out like this!
