Would it wrok if i just lopped though it and said span [i]?

would it wrok if I started with saying let span = document.getElementsByClassName("spoiler");

and then looping through and says span[i]

It's not clear how you intend to use the index in the loop. Perhaps it would help if you show the complete code.
