Wouldn't the web browser be a good file viewing tool?

Would not the suggestion of copying the URL from the debug log and pasting it into the web browser in the emulator also serve as a useful tool for examining captured images and other types of files? I was using Android Studio and this proved the most useful way for me to confirm I had successfully captured images through the emulator.
