you've started to write out "transition-duration". You could do it that way, specifying each part individually:

transition-duration: .6s;
transition-property: height;

There's also a transition shorthand:

.example {
    transition: [transition-property] [transition-duration] [transition-timing-function] [transition-delay];
}

You have to give it a transition-property and transition-duration. The other parts are optional:

.collapsed {
    height: 0;
    overflow: hidden;
  transition: height .6s;
}
