Write Code "c# rocks" if "c#" is entered. I just need to know what's wrong with the code I entered.

There are no errors in the code and I just can't see what Is wrong and why it wont let me pass. Someone help.

CodeChallenge.cs
string language = Console.ReadLine();

if(language == "C#")
{
    System.Console.WriteLine("C# Rocks!");
}
else
{
    System.Console.WriteLine(language + " is not C#.");
}

There is nothing wrong with your code per se, but it does more than the challenge asks for. Treehouse challenges tend to be quite picky, you are supposed to do what is asked the way they ask you to and only that.

This challenge expects "C# Rocks!" to be printed when "C#" is given as input, and nothing to be printed when anything else is given as input, your code fails under that criteria due to your else statement.

Removing the else statement will allow you to pass the challenge.
