Writing A Simple jQuery Plugin

I would to see a series of workshops on creating a simple jquery plugins. They could take you through creating the plugin with best practices whilst also confirming a lot of the Javascript basics that Jim goes through in his Javascript Fundamentals course.

Each workshop could take you through different plugins:

  • Image Sliders
  • Carousels
  • Accordion Menus
  • Ajax requests with maybe twitter

I am sure there would be loads of ideas we could come up with for topics and this would hopefully take you from start to finish on a project that you could then use in your own work.

Has any progress been made on these topics? These are definitely sought after and I look forward to Treehouse doing something along these lines.
