I'm seriously considering attending WWDC (if I'm lucky enough to get a ticket). Has anyone been before? It is a lot of money (especially as I'd have to travel from the UK). Is it worthwhile?

Did you end up getting a ticket? I have a link to purchase sitting in my inbox and I'm debating whether to do it. Granted I'm in the states and a flight is only a few hundred dollars for me but I'm not sure what to do. It's still like $3,000+ USD when all is said and done.

I'd say that you should definitely take the opportunity as you might not get it again.

But I would say you could get a lot from the experience and to get to chat with the staff at Apple whom are clearly talented people. Depends whether you think you would benefit from attending and whether that benefit is worth that much money. San Francisco is the place to be for tech too. I too am from the UK, Manchester and we have nothing really up here like they do in London and the states.
