XAMP problem with displaying greek characters

I have installed XAMP and i am trying to preview a site with greek characters from localhost but instead of greek characters i see questionmarks..ppffff Anyone that can help?

Try using it's entity name or entity number instead of the letter itself :) http://www.quackit.com/html/html_greek_characters.cfm

Unicode (and UTF-8 specifically) is great, but you do have to make sure that everything is lined up: the encoding in your text editor, the HTML page, and the database. Glad you got it working!

What are you using Greek characters for? I studied ancient Greek philosophy back at university, and I wrote a tool to let people type polytonic Greek using a regular Latin keyboard:

It took me a while to figure out all the nuances of Unicode and UTF-8 to get that all working!

i am using greek characters cause i am Greek! Really nice site :)
