xcode

I can not find the xcode app in the Apple app store. I have a windows 8 computer, am I still able to download it to this computer? If not is there an equivalent?

here is a link to the newest version. click the button that says view in mac app store to download it from there. keep in mind you must be using Mac OSX to use the mac app store, you cannot download it on windows and therefore cannot develop for mac/ios unless you are running OS X

no. you need OS X to develop native iOS applications. you can however develop for android on windows. check out the Android track

Thank you. If I were to buy an apple computer would Android work on there to? Also, what software would I have to use to develop windows apps?
