145 PointsXCode App for Older Version of Apple Mac
I've tried to download the XCode app from Apple's App Store but due to the fact I have an older version of a Mac (5, I think), I am unable to download the XCode app. The CD Reader on my Mac is no longer working and I cannot upgrade to a higher version of Mac OS X. Is there a way to circumnavigate this? Is there a website, perhaps, where I might be able to use XCode, or download XCode? Thanks for any and all help.

10,861 PointsHello Andrew,
Yes you can, but you need to Enroll in the Apple Developer Program https://developer.apple.com/ You will need to navigate to ' Dev center ' then 'ios section'. Then you will have the option ("Looking for an older version of Xcode?"), click the link, you will have the possibility to go back to the earliest version of Xcode, I think back to 2006, with many versions in between. It's free, the pay option it's when you want to register for publishing an app to the app store. It's an easy process, Good luck.
