iOS Build a Simple iPhone App with Swift Views and View Controllers Introduction to Views

Xcode run issue

Every time I press run in Xcode the iOS Simulator brings up 2 black windows one is - TV Out 1280 x 720 and the other is the iPhone view I'm waiting but its huge and again just a big black window and does replicate what i have added to the ui in Xcode. Does anyone know what this could be? and how i can just get it to show my app?

It sounds like you could have an external display enabled in the iOS Simulator. Under the Hardware menu, locate External Displays and make sure None is selected.

Cheers!
