7,431 PointsYour question is 4 days old and I'm going to assume you've already searched the course offerings. I haven't seen any XML here and few people know an XML file has a DTD (or they think it's just a list of approved tag names). I was involved with SGML in the early 90s. The working draft for XML was released end-1996, but just a year earlier, when SGML was still the best meta language for document markup, Eve Maler and Jeanne El Andaloussi wrote an excellent book about DTDs, Developing SGML DTDs link to a copy on Amazon Keep in mind that DTDs got simpler when XML came along.
How did DTDs change? Check out this little tutorial on XML Schemas. Actually, looking it over, you can skip the book. This little tutorial covers most of the details of XML DTDs.
