Yii Tutorials

Hello everyone!!! Me gonna start Yii framework of php. Can someone provide links for getting start with Yii? Or anyone from treehouser's planning to provide tutorials on this framework.

It would be great if they did a course on a PHP framework like Yii, or what ever framework is deemed to be the best available. Seems like there are several options and not a lot of consensus. Would be interested in other peoples opinions on this too.

Employers are increasingly asking about what framework/s we know, so one is automatically disadvantaged by not having knowledge of one. Zend is popular, but that I believe you have to pay to use it's services. Yii is widely used, but the last time I tried it, the introductory materials weren't very helpful to me, so I didn't follow through with it. If Treehouse did a course on one popular one, it would be great.

Once again came to my favorite resource - treehouse. I looked for yii course, but treehouse don't have it:( if you have any plans on adding yii2 course - I'd be happiest person in the world

Yes Yii tutorial in depth and more understandable for novice. It is hard for us to learn from their documentation its so unhealthy for beginners.

Same here! I am interested in Yii 1.1 as well as Yii 2. Are there any plans to add tutorials? Highly appreciated.
