var b = 20;
var c = 30;
if (a > b){
alert(a + ' is greater than ' + b +'.')
} else {
alert( a + ' is NOT greater than ' + b + '.')
}
Try this. In this code, you are already giving a fixed value to a and b. As you are passing the value 10 to a, the answer will always be 10 is Not greater than 20. If you use prompt method to ask the questions to user then (if...else....) statement will make some sense.
