I just got to the device installation video, and it's telling me that you must sign up for the developer program which is $99 to install your app on your own phone? Even just for personal use and testing?
Im pretty annoyed at this, as I don't intent to distribute my apps, but just play with them.

And, well, it's Apple's world...you're just living in it :-)
And yeah, some of these things are definitely at best annoying but you might as well accept these as part of your life as an iOS Developer :)
