Like Shawn said nothing seems out of the ordinary except your image isn't showing up. The first thing I noticed was you messed up your meta tag. Forgot a "

Should be: <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"/>

Thanks for this. It has been fixed and the pics are now loading properly. Yeah, it was the pic not showing up and It was an only one time error of local host so it just fixed itself :/

My enviroment was just at home. Running a Desktop Mac. Dont know what else to say for enviroment.

But thank you to everyone who helped :)

If you're using MAMP, there are ways to set it up to use a dummy SSL certificate, if you're going to be developing an e-commerce site, or other site that needs encryption.

BUT....

Localhost is your own computer. Because of this, there is no need to have an encrypted connection (since you're not going out on the internet).

Hi Lee,

Can you tell us a little bit more about your environment? I see you are on a Mac, are you running MAMP? There should be no reason for it to be requesting a cert.

In your link http://gyazo.com/f28e4d9672225362bcb94bbf57c153fd I don't see anything wrong other than a broken link to img. What am I missing? :)
