Yourl Shortener

I downloaded the Yourl shortener code from github version 1.7 and I installed it on my local host it as per the readme file given running fine but i could not understand the flow of the code say for eg in functions.php file i could see most of the logics but I could not understand from where the functional parameters are passed and also where they have did their designing part please help it's really urgent. Thanks in advance.
