YouTube Video: Create a simple CSS Dropdown Menu Are the source files and follow up on Treehouse?

Hey,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZWNzn3la6Y

I just watched this Treehouse video (I think Nick Pettit?) and he explained how to make a dropdown menu in CSS. I've tried to apply it to a project that I'm working on, but it's not working.

Does anybody know if the source files or a follow up video are on Treehouse? Can somebody link me please?

Thanks in advance,

Looks like this is from the Treehouse blog here: http://blog.teamtreehouse.com/create-simple-css-dropdown-menu

And you can click on the link on that page to download the project files (or directly get them here: http://treehouse-blog.s3.amazonaws.com/downloads/css-dropdown.zip)

Hope this helps!

Thanks bro, much appreciated!

He mentioned that he was going to do a follow up video that included showing how to build a dropdown nav in css using mobile-first approach.

Any idea if that video exists?

Hi Gavin Mace,

These two videos show you how to build a mobile first nav using flexbox. :)

Thanks bro!

I've watched the 2nd one, will go through the first one shortly.

Will it help me make a responsive dropdown menu? I seem to be able to find one or the other, but not both ... and seems I only ever need to make 1 mistake and a dropdown stops working.
