YouTube Video not displaying

I've added a YouTube video as per the instructions and trying to view on a Safari browser but it won't display?

Not sure why, can anyone help?

Protocol-less URLs don't work without a web server, so in that case just add http: in front of the URL.

> The main caveat to keep in mind when using the protocol-less reference is that it will fail on pages loaded via file:/// (i.e. HTML pages you load directly from disk to your browser). So, do be sure to include the http: protocol in the URL if you happen to be developing without a web server at all, but don’t worry about omitting it otherwise.

Without knowing the code you used to try and make it work, it would be hard to diagnose the issue.

I was using embed code using old embed style and this was the code.

Does it have something to do with viewing on a localhost as my browser pulled up the file I'm working on from my local system.

I'm not sure if you tried pasting in the code but the forums strip out html if you just paste it in. That link should help you with the correct way to post code.

I think somebody else had this problem and it was because the url's didn't have the http: at the beginning.
