Converting Text
2:35The final layer on your logo is Type. In order for your text to show up in all websites; even those that do not recognize your font choice, you will need to convert your text type to a shape.
Now we need to add our type.

I want the type to be a soft yellow.

Which is not in our swatch palette so
we can create a new swatch for that.

I'll hit OK and gonna drag this into
our color group so we have that.

convert your text to outlines or shapes so

they just need the file.

So to convert this to an outline,
We'll go to object expand.

It's going to ask you if you want to
expand the fill and we'll say yes and what

that does is it turns it into shape data
rather than have any font data in there.

behind it, add a highlight color.

the size of my artboard.

that all the way down to the bottom,
