Logo and Grouping
2:50Once your logo has been developed, you will want to ensure that its placement into your wireframe is appropriate to the size and scale of the logo. This may take some adjusting or potentially an adjustment to your heading.
File > Open, open up our logo, here it is.

And the blue background is locked right
now, which is great cuz we just need this.

Before we drag this in,
want you to note that

all of these different layers
are not connected to one another.

And in Illustrator,
we can group these items together so

it's treated as one object.

I wanna do that to just ensure that
nothing is gonna get messed up or changed.

So I'll select all of the layers
I wanna be in the group,

then I'll go to Object > Group,
or it's Cmd+G.

So now when I click on
one part of this pencil,

it's gonna automatically select
all of the layers in the group.

If I wanted to go inside the group,
I could double-click and

then change things around here.
