a small help here please

String name = intent.getStringExtra("name");

so may ik why we used "name" as string here and should i use it always ?

"name" is the data key of the intent which we created in the MainActivity and also its from this intent which we intend to retrieve data we have sent to the NewActivity(StoryActivity). We sent data through the intent.putExtra("name",name) statement
