Ajax basics course in techdegree expires on 19 June?

I would like to know if it's necessary to watch AJAX basics course before it is going to expire on 19 June. Should I wait for the newer version of this course or AJAX is becoming old nowadays so I just ignore it? Thank you so much for clarifying this for me!

It's not in the content roadmap yet, but in answer to a similar question, Dave McFarland told us that a revised and more streamlined AJAX course will be coming out in June. He also suggested that if you haven't started the current course yet, you might want to wait for the new one. It's going to be shorter and more directly focused on AJAX.
