Backslash

backslash. Why the second backslash is before double quotes insted of behind them ?

What do you mean?

Because " is special character and to parse it, we have to use 2nd \ before " just as we did for 1st "

Double backslash can be used to prevent escaping of characters.

I.e: Double backslash will print "Hello World\n" rather than "Hello World" with a new line.
