Change the size of the pencil

On the video, the teacher can resize (scale) the pencil logo. How do you do that? Thank you.

Use the selection tool to select the whole image after it is selected use the points in the corners to scale the image. I hope that is the answer you need.

To keep the constraint of the image, or in other words, shrink down proportionally, make sure to hold Shift

I'm assuming you have Adobe CC. You have to use the "Free Transform" Tool.
