    "name":"Netflix Playlist",
    "shows":[
        {
            "title":"Doctor Who",
            "season":8,
            "episode":3
        },

            "episode":10
        },

I looked up some Java and "name" and "shows" doesnt seem right, but maybe youre doing it a different way? For example:

string name="Netflix Playlist to initialize & thereafter in code name = "any string"

dont know why you have "" around variable name.

That's JSON, not java, that file was given and I only modified the java file. Anyway I solved the problem already, thank you for the help!
