combo function

HEy guys! i am not so sure if i am totally approaching this the wrong way, some help would really be appreciated!

combo.py
# combo([1, 2, 3], 'abc')
# Output:
# [(1, 'a'), (2, 'b'), (3, 'c')]

def combo(g,h):
    for index, letter in g,h:
        print("{} {}".format(index,letter))

The challenge says:

Your function should return a list of tuples

Your function currently has no return statement, it just prints a string.
