Android Build a Weather App (2015) Working with JSON Formatting a Date

How do you use SimpleDateFormat?

How do you format the SimpleDateFormat variable and use the Date variable to set and return the date.

Movie.java
import java.util.Date;

public class Movie {

    private String mTitle;
    private Date mReleaseDate;

    public String getTitle() {
        return mTitle;
    }

    public void setTitle(String title) {
        mTitle = title;
    }

    public Date getReleaseDate() {
        return mReleaseDate;
    }

    public void setReleaseDate(Date date) {
        mReleaseDate = date;
    }

  public String getFormattedReleaseDate() {
    SimpleDateFormat sdf = new SimpleDateFormat("yyyy-MM-dd");
    String s = sdf.format(mReleaseDate);
    return mReleaseDate;
  }
}

The date variable is given in milliseconds I believe, so you need to multiple the release date by 1000.

Then return the string, not the release date you turned into a string.

Thanks
