How to install Flask on a web host

Any good tutorial covering the installation of Flask on a web host? My web host is Dreamhost if that helps. I have found a very basic tutorial that jumps around too much and leaves out a bunch of assumed knowledge.

Thanks in advance!

I haven't ever set up Flask on Dreamhost. A bit of Googling led me to two guides that look pretty complete.

Looks like my steps would be:

  1. Install Python 3.4
  2. Install virtualenv
  3. Create a virtualenv, activate it, and install Flask
  4. Create the passenger_wsgi domain
  5. Put the Flask app in the virtualenv (ew but whatever)
  6. Move the passenger_wsgi.py file into the virtualenv

Cool, thanks Kenneth! I'll give that a try.

Thanks Kenneth Love ! I was able to build a rsvp form for my wedding website using Flask :) check it out if you'd like!
