I can't seem to get this right..

// JSONObject 'jsonData' was loaded from data.json

JSONArray jsonShows = jsonData.getJSONArray("shows"); for(int i = 0; i < jsonShows.length(); i++){ JSONObject movies = jsonShows.getJSONObject(i); movies.getJSONObject("title"); movies.getJSONObject("season"); movies.getJSONObject("episode"); }

This is my code.

CodeChallenge.java
// JSONObject 'jsonData' was loaded from data.json

JSONArray jsonShows = jsonData.getJSONArray("shows");
for(int i = 0; i < jsonShows.length(); i++){
    JSONObject movies = jsonShows.getJSONObject(i);
    movies.getJSONObject("title");
    movies.getJSONObject("season");
    movies.getJSONObject("episode");
}
data.json
{
    "name":"Netflix Playlist",
    "shows":[
        {
            "title":"Doctor Who",
            "season":8,
            "episode":3
        },
        {
            "title":"Arrow",
            "season":1,
            "episode":10
        },
        {
            "title":"Portlandia",
            "season":4,
            "episode":5
        }
    ]
}

What are you attempting to do with the for loop? Also, title, season and episode are not JSON Objects. They are keys that point to their respective strings/numbers. You can do movies.getString(key);

Thanks, I got it working. The problem was I was using getJSONObject.

Hey there :D

I'm assuming you're at step 2. be sure to read the question to the end; this step requires that you use "Log.i ()" function to post the "title" of each movie. only the title

good luck
