I'm interested in learning most of the stuff offered by this school but I'm also interested in learning some .net.
Where would be a good place to start to learn basic knowledge or .net?
Also I see they have different types of .net programming. The 2 that I know of are ASP.net and C#.net. Can anyone explain these?
Thanks,

6,824 PointsThere are some great courses for c# at http://www.microsoftvirtualacademy.com/training-courses/c-fundamentals-for-absolute-beginners. If you want to learn about .net here is a quick overview from Stack Exchange http://programmers.stackexchange.com/questions/44810/relationship-between-c-net-asp-asp-net-etc.

33,856 PointsIra, if I'm not mistaken, .NET courses are coming to Treehouse. I'm not entirely sure when, or where I saw it, but I'm almost certain. I'm wondering if Nick Pettit, Ryan Carson, Andrew Chalkley, or Dave McFarland can confirm this.
Keep an eye on the Content Roadmap for future courses.

10,331 PointsI figured it would be on here eventually. I was actually surprised to see that they didn't have it yet. I'll definitely be looking forward to it though. This training method is so effective to me.

11,679 PointsWe are indeed planning on brining .NET and C# to Treehouse. We're currently looking to hire a teacher and build the infrastructure to offer courses! Wish i could give you a definite timeframe but it all hinges on finding the right teacher.
