It's not in the content roadmap yet, but in answer to a similar question, Dave McFarland told us that a revised and more streamlined AJAX course will be coming out in June.

So is there a point of learning this course?

In that same answer, Dave suggested that if you haven't started the current course yet, you might want to wait for the new one. It's going to be shorter and more directly focused on AJAX.

Thanks, Steven! If I may, why not post a link in that same 'retirement' announcement regarding Treehouse's underlying reason and future plans to edit/replace the course? I think it would assist customers in figuring out what is going on :-)

I did post a link to the "similar question". Click on the blue words in my answer.
I'm not aware of any other info source to link to.

Hi, yes you did. What I meant was: Why not add the link with the original announcement, i.e., "This course will be retired on June 19, 2019. Click <here> for an explanation." Just a suggestion.
