Im not sure if everyone got it but :

Lets vote on Trello :D

I hope we can get computer science ! And if you have more ideas about what stuff would you like to learn , write it and then we can tag Joy, as she probably have a lot of news allready so we can tag Joy later if anyone gets anything :)

I really don't like Trello ( too basic for me ), but here are some of my suggestions being that this is for the Digital Literacy subsets.

  1. Employability requirements
  2. Digital literacy to enable active engagement in our digital world.
  3. Why is digital literacy important in society?

Basically any topic that it really takes to become a good developer, and make it in this world ( I've done it for 20 years myself ). A common problem that I see with people on the forums, is that many of them appear to barely know how to turn a computer on -- let alone program something. And this is something that the Digital Literacy subsets would ( or at least should ) cover to combat in the TTH students.

Bare in mind we have to start with basics. I did play around with CMD on windows, something on iMac etc.. binary numbers but you know, the back end is interesting too .

Write your review here or we can just tak Joy here but I don't know it this woundt make her extra work to look in these topics. maybe its better to keep in one.

I just did this so more people know about the voting.

Thanks for keeping the discussion going guys. Justin Black and Konrad Pilch you both seem to get what the digital literacy can and should be for Treehouse. I appreciate your support and please continue to spread the word on requests and voting.

Thanks again!

Hey Joy, happy to help with ideas where I can. I'm off to work right now, lots of code to write and a giant database to plan, but if I think of anything else I'll post it back.

Joy Kesten here are a few more topic ideas:

  • What is Digital Literacy? ( This one seems like a potential best-watched; appears not many people really understand what D.L is )
  • The Multi-Literacies of the Digital Age
  • Where does β€œDigital Citizenship” Fit In?

Can't think of anymore right now, but i'm sure I will with time.

Im always happy to collaborate and try to bring things father :) Wow, there is now a lot of them!

Joy, how will you manage the request , or choose( I don't mean voting but like whats going to be released ) ? or will be they in a order ? or some of them youll miss?

I will try too look around more about what could be added, though im not 100% what the other topics even cover, so I might end up saying the same thing in different format . I don't know .

Hi Joy Kesten :)

I was watching something on youtube and i just thought, if this in the digital literacy , how to make things to do something. What i mean is like if you give a phone to a normal person, he will see it as a phone to call etc.. but if you give it to a hacker, he may manipulate it to e.g spy people near him or shot somebody passwords in withing 1mile or something like that. Maybe if you clap the light will turn off and if you snort sneez the light will go on or something like that .
