When will we expect to see more PHP ?

How long before we expect to see some more advanced PHP projects?

In particular MySQL and PHP combination including PDO and also OOP PHP would be nice, thanks guys keep up the great work!.

PHP is still where the most jobs are so I agree - more PHP!

Randy replied in another thread about this topic already though, If I can find it I will post the link.

But he said he is currently working hard to create the advanced series.

We all are patiently waiting, can't wait to dive into the advanced stage!

PHP Academy does have some good tutorials on PDO and OOP PHP. But some seem a bit outdated. Treehouse has a very nice teaching method. You can google or youtube alot of different tutorials on any topic you want to learn about. But honestly the code is not well demonstrated. It is not reinforced with challenges or quizes. And some videos the person gets distracted, makes alot of errors during the video, go off on wild tangents, or the video itself is low quality and it makes it really hard to stay focused.

I have been around all those sites and have watched a bunch of videos. I myself am waiting for Randy he does a great job. I feel like I learn much more, no "distractors" on screen or background, practical applications, etc.

Though I would still recommend checking out some of the outdated material just to get an idea how it works. It will help follow along and understand much easier when Randy gets the next series up.

A Symfony tutorial would be great as well :)
